Turnstone Games is a new and independent board game design and production company based in Bristol, UK.
Ollie Fournier designs games with a focus on discovery and exploration, leaving no stone left unturned.
Current projects include Birdwatch, a game about discovering the diverse birdlife of the UK and Enter the Obelisk, a cooperative, narrative tile laying game in which players unravel the mysteries of an archipelago whose shape is constantly shifting.
Birdwatch
Birdwatch’ is an engaging game for both families and more experienced board game enthusiasts. In the game, players compete to spot Britain’s most iconic birds across a variety of habitats, balancing chasing after rarer, higher scoring birds with completing their own personal checklists to gain additional points and rewards.
The game seeks to fills a gap in the current market of entry level strategic board games about birdwatching, whilst having visually stunning components that engage people with the theme. Birdwatch has been in the design stage for the past three years and tested extensively with a variety of players and experienced designers in Playtest UK and the UK Games Expo. We will be launching a crowdfunding campaign in 2027 with the aim of publishing at the UK Games Expo in May.
